Ferencz Melánia

Journalist, author, former competitive dancer, Groove Dance facilitator

Shes been gifted with two things that shape her equally: a love for words and a strong sense of rhythm. Thats why she keeps both paths closewriting and movement. Sometimes the writer takes the lead, sometimes the dancer, but she wouldnt choose one over the other; together, theyre simply who she is.

This time she joins as a representative of The World Groove Movement, introducing The Groove Methodoften described as one of the most creative dance workouts out there, built on five core truths. She has already brought Groove to more than 20 towns across three countries (Romania, Hungary, Switzerland), always with the same intention: to spark joy and leave people smiling.

At the festival, adults, kids, and families can all jump into easy, one- or two-step choreographiesand most importantly, theres no right way to do it and no need to copy the facilitator. And if you catch yourself wondering, Will I be able to keep up?, remember Groove Truth #1, created by Misty Tripoli (now based in Mexico):
Nobody cares what you look like or how you dance. And if they do, thats their issue.
