Dr. Bagosi Ágota
Consultant Dermatologist
As a chief dermatologist, she sees the marks of sunlight on the skin every day, while as a person she herself is deeply drawn to light and nature. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, rock climbing, and quietly observing the mountains. In her medical perspective, the connection between the body and the inner emotional world is especially important, as is the way sunlight shapes our skin, our mood, our behavior, and our relationship to light.
In her talk The Sun We Live By and Fear, she speaks about the suns dual nature: a force that is at once a source of life, joy, and freedom, yet also connected to aging, skin damage, and our modern fears. Her perspective explores our relationship with light not only from a medical point of view, but from a deeply human one as well.
